Here is a homemade Solar Filter made, just because I couldn’t get hold of a solar filter in time. Got a blank 25c CD, split the two layers, and cut the layered side with household scissors. Stuck it in front of my Lumix “point&shoot” with yellow tack.

Put the camera in manual, smallest aperture, 1300/sec speed or more, at ISO 100. Watched and photographed the eclipse. Worked better than most solar filters, results of wich I see around the web.
